Girls may run the world, but they don't run the Carter household just yet.
Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed a baby boy and girl into the world on Monday, June 12, Us Weekly reports.
The new additions bring the family count to five, as they join the power couple's 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
The news of the babies' sexes comes after former President Barack Obama sparked speculation that the impending bundles of joy would both be girls in a video he recorded for Jay Z, 47, to introduce the rap legend into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
"Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, although he's gonna have me beat once those two twins show up," the father of two said in the video.
Beyoncé, 35, announced her pregnancy in February with an Instagram post that went on to become the most-liked photo in the social media platform's history.
"We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes," she captioned the photo, which currently has 11 million likes.
